The Pusô is handcrafted by Rags2Riches (R2R) community artisans in Metro Manila, Philippines. Each bag is woven using upcycled, overstock fabrics from the local fashion industry. Distinctly Filipino, the signature R2R weave is a variation of the popular technique used to craft potholders, rags, and floormats you'll see in many Filipino households. 

The Pusô Pyramid Handbag not only makes a fashion statement but also carries the joyful story of Filipino ingenuity. Aside from its shape, the Pusô bag also gets its name from a Filipino rice cake that is packed tightly into woven palm leaves.
